1. Water system

Definition: Water system is composed of heat source or (and) cold source, piping system, and terminal. When refrigerating, the temperature of the refrigerant gets cold from the cold source and the temperature is reduced, and it is transported to the terminal device by the pipeline system. After cooling the room in the terminal device, the temperature rises and then returns to the cold source. The opposite is true for heating.

Application: Single-family villas, centralized cooling districts, etc.

Features: Low initial investment and comfortable use effect; however, installation is more difficult, and later use and maintenance costs are higher.

2. Refrigerant system

Definition: The refrigerant system refers to the system in which the load of the air-conditioned room is directly borne by the refrigerant. The evaporator or condenser directly absorbs (or releases) heat from the room.

Application: elevator apartments, bungalows, villas, etc.

Features: fast and flexible installation, stable and reliable use, energy-saving and comfortable; but the initial investment is relatively high.

Refrigerant system classification:

1). One for one (split type)

One for one can also be called a split type, as the name suggests is that an external machine drives an internal machine.

Features: The internal machine has ceiling type, duct type, wall-mounted type, cabinet type, and the length of the pipe is limited, generally no more than 15 meters.

Application: The indoor equipment of household air conditioner is more beautiful after being hidden, so the way of decorating the ceiling determines the form of the air conditioner. For example, if only the guest restaurant considers the ceiling, the better solution is to use the air duct type internal machine in the guest restaurant. The pipeline and the internal machine can be hidden in the ceiling, which is beautiful in appearance and comfortable to use.

a) Multi-control

One outdoor unit has multiple internal units, and the refrigerant pipeline of each internal unit is individually connected to the outdoor unit.

Features: The internal unit includes duct type, ceiling type, wall-mounted type, etc. The outdoor unit centrally handles the air-conditioning load; however, there are pipe length restrictions. Generally, the total pipe length does not exceed 65m, and the single pipe length does not exceed 25m.

Application: The main advantage of the multi-control system compared to one for one is that only one outdoor machine is needed, and compared with multiple outdoor machines, this system has fewer noise sources. The facade of the house is more beautiful. It is more economical and practical when the air conditioning area is larger and the time is longer.

a) Single control

One outdoor unit has multiple internal units, and there is only one set of main pipes between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit, and each indoor unit is connected to the main pipe by a branch pipe.

Features: The internal unit has air duct type, ceiling type, wall-mounted type, etc.; the outdoor unit centrally handles the air conditioning load, is flexible in installation, and the length of a single pipe can be up to 120m.

Application: The single control system only needs one outdoor unit, which reduces noise sources and ensures the beautiful appearance of the residential facade; the functional style of the internal unit is more individualized and flexible, the pipe length is longer, and it is more calm to deal with large households; it is currently the main force of household central air-conditioning The workhorse in China.
