After all, in people's traditional concept, household central air conditioners are linked by multiple machines. Turning on one host means that multiple indoor machines are activated at the same time. 1. Does central air-conditioning cost electricity?

The energy efficiency ratio of general household split air conditioners is around 2.3~2.8, while the energy efficiency ratio of central air conditioners can reach more than 3.0. This means that at the same temperature, the power consumption of household central air conditioners is lower than that of ordinary cabinet-type and split-type air conditioners.
In addition, the central air conditioner can also be used with a wall-hung boiler, and it can also use ground source heat pump technology to increase the energy efficiency ratio to more than 5. So from this point of view, the power consumption of household central air-conditioning is not large.
From a functional point of view, a household central air conditioner is equivalent to several wall-mounted and cabinet units, and its electricity consumption is less than the sum of the electricity consumption of one air conditioner installed in each room, but the effect is better than the effect of installing several units. The cost is much lower than the split air conditioner; the central air-conditioning refrigeration station can directly control the on-off time and cooling capacity of the chiller, and can be adjusted according to climate changes to save operating electricity costs.
From the above analysis, the power consumption of household central air conditioners is not more than that of wall-mounted, cabinet-type split machines, and the electricity bill is much lower than the heating bill.
